VAN MORRISON Astral Weeks LP 1968 MINT FIRST PRESSING!! Shipping Info | SALES THEME Description VAN MORRISON "ASTRAL WEEKS" Warner Bros/Seven Arts Records WS-1768. Cover: MINT, Vinyl: NEAR MINT, Labels: MINT! 1968 First Pressing Stereo 12-inch LP/Still in the original shrink wrap. [tape in corners is on the shrink wrap and NOT on the cover. spine printing is neat and well-centered. vinyl has tremendous shine and sparkle LIKE A BRAND NEW RECORD. Only 2 or 3 nearly invisible light and tiny paper scuffs prevent me from grading this a true MINT record!] Plays Fantastic!
"ASTRAL WEEKS" is nowadays considered the masterpiece accomplishment it clearly always was. It just took the public a few decades to catch up w. Van's vision. It can honestly be said that there has never been another record quite like it. And that even includes Van's recording career! It's a perfect record and is my personal favorite album of all time. When it was released it was nearly ignored. The truth is that it inly sold 10,000 copies upon its release. And, this is one of those. It has been lovingly preserved in the nearly pristine condition it is currently in.
