Abdulla Rashim's Northern Electronics imprint has gone from strength to strength since its inception only a few years ago. What started as an outlet for his and close associate Varg's work has now expanded into other areas of transgressive music such as industrial and coldwave but you can rest assured that Scandinavian Swords II focuses on the label's first love of hypnotic techno inspired by Italian legends such Donato Dozzy, Nuel and Brando Lupi. Introducing the compilation in majestic fashion is Varg & Abdulla Rashim's "Metro Entrance I" followed shortly after by Voices From The Lake's Neel, who presents the vicious groove "Vandal" and Dan Vicente aka Acronym with some absolutely lush trance induction on "Fluctuations". Honourable mentions also to fellow Swede homeboys Korridor, who turn in the emotive deep techno excursion "Opia" and Evigt Morker who is in fine form on the strobing "Tom Himmel".
