Originally released in 2004 and long out of print, the beautiful re-issue by Music On Vinyl in 2019 celebrates the album's 15 year anniversary. Contraband debuted at number one on the American Billboard 200 chart and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. The commercial success was helped by the impact of the singles "Slither" and "Fall to Pieces", which both reached number one on the Mainstream Rock Chart.

Originalmente lanzado en 2004 y habiendo estado largo tiempo descatalogado, esta magnífica reedición realizada por Music On Vinyl en 2019 celebra el 15º aniversario de la publicación del álbum original. Contraband entró disparado al número 1 de la lista Top 200 de American Billboard y consiguió dos discos de platino. El éxito comercial se alcanzó gracias a singles como "Slither" y "Fall to Pieces". Ambos alcanzaron el número 1 de la Mainstream Rock Chart.
