Description

Verve Records V6--5008, this is an original stereo pressing (NOT a reissue) of the rare Velvet Underground & Nico self titled LP.  This pressing has the peel off banana on the front cover and the black sticker on the back cover which obscures the torso that was not yet airbrushed off of later pressings.  Cover is VG+, showing some soine wear and ring wear.  Banana is intact althought the stem is torn and there is also a small tear in the lower part of the banana.  Back cover sticker shows some minor corner wear, where apparently someone tried to peel it a bit.  Vinyl is VG+, showing some scuffs and surface marks,.  fidelity is fine, with the occasional pop and some background crackled during quieter passages.  Labels are vibrant and clean.  A good copy of this rare LP.   Buyer pays $6 shipping in the US.  I accept Paypal, US Postal Money Orders, and well concealed US Dollars.  Thanks for looking and good luck!!
