Description
VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO ORIG 1967 UK VINYL LP VERVE VLP 9184 MISPRINT RARE!!. This extremely rare original UK press is in well worn condition. Please see all photos to ensure your happy with the condition of the cover before you buy. The cover has significant wear but still holds together and functions, split to spine and bottom right opening edge, unlaminated reverse has large felt tip drawing but liner notes still legible. The vinyl has many visible marks, a couple of scratches and surface noise throughout as a result, however it plays with no skips and is listenable, in the louder passages it sounds pretty good. In 40 years of selling vinyl I've never seen another one. The record sold poorly on its release in 1967 and only achieved cult status later on, by which time it was repressed on MGM and polydor. To get one with the silver and black Verve labels is amazing. The price reflects the poor condition, a good condition copy will go for £200+ ( see 2 others listed on Ebay currently). Be sure you are happy with this honest description. I am not accepting returns and will not make partial refunds after receipt of the record. I have been honest.
