THIS IS STONKER OF AN L.P. WITH AN EDUCATION INTO THE VERTIGO VAULTS, COMPRISING OF SOME OF THE MOST WELL KNOWN & SOME "NOT SO COMMON" NAMES IN PROG ROCK.

SOME OF THE BANDS FEATURED BEST KNOWN & LOVED SONGS, PUT TOGETHER TO PROMOTE THE VERTIGO LABEL/ARTISTS BACK IN 1970!!

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A COPY OF THIS FANTASTIC L.P. AND SAY THE COVER WAS MINT OR IN GREAT SHAPE...THEN THIS ONE IS OK, ITS EXCELLENT DOWN TO JUST SOME STICKERS OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE & CAT NUMBERS STUCK ON.

ONE ON THE FRONT TOP RIGHT & ONE ON THE BACK TOP RIGHT. APART FROM THIS ITS IN PRETTY GREAT SHAPE, THE SPINE IS INTACT & HAS NO RIPS OR TEARS, RECORD PUSH. STILL READABLE, WITH ONLY SLIGHT SHELF WEAR WEAR/AGE. THE INSIDE OF THIS GATED COVER IS ALSO EXCELLENT WITH JUST SOME SIGNS OF AGE, NO HANDWRITTEN NAMES ANYWHERE IN INK OR BIRO. GENERALY THE COVER HAS SUPERFICIAL WEAR, AND OUT OF 100% GETS A SCORE OF 80% THIS IS BEING CRITICAL ON MY PART AFTER ALL THE RECORD IS OVER 40 YEARS OLD...

THE REASON I MENTION IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A COPY, WITH A PERFECT COVER IS....THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL CONTAINED IN THIS COPY ARE BOTH MINT PLAY, VERY IMPRESSIVE SHEEN & THE AUDIO IS OUT OF 100% 99.9% CORRECT. TOTALY CLEAN & CRISP RECORDS. NO DUST, NO WARPING, NO JUMPBACKS OR TICKS, POPS ETC. NO SIGNS OF NEEDLE THRASH, HEAVY HANDLING, NOT ANY INGRAINED DUST ETC. THESE ARE JUST PERFECT TO REPLACE INTO A COVER OF SUPERIOR QUALITY TO THIS ONE, (ALTHOUGH THIS ONE AIN'T TO BAD AT ALL). JUST AN OPTION IF YOU ALREADY NEED BETTER RECORDS PERHAPS??

PLEASE NOTE : AMAZINGLY STATIC STILL CLINGS TO BOTH OF THESE RECORDS, SO YOU CAN TELL THEY HAVE HARDLY BEEN USED. THERE ARE NO BACKGROUND NOISES OR NO SOUND DISTORTION. I CAN HONESTLY SAY....NEAR MINT. APPEARANCE, INSPECTED UNDER BOTH DAYLIGHT & HOLOGEN BULB. ONLY UNDER THESE EXTREME CONDITIONS WILL YOU SEE  MAYBE THE SLIGHTEST OF HAIRLINE FRACTURES CAUSED BY THE DUST COVER, I CAN HARDLY SEE ANY!!!! THESE TOTALY DO NOT IMPARE THE SOUND CONTAINED.

GREAT DISCS TO BE PROUD OF, OUT OF 100% BOTH OF THESE I HAPPILY GIVE A 99.9% RATE.

THE LABELS ARE BOTH IN AMAZING SHAPE ON BOTH RECORDS, ALMOST NO SPINDLE MARKS TO BE SEEN, MAYBE ONE OR TWO? NO HANDWRITTEN NAMES OR RIPS OR TEARS, NO FADE IN PRINT, INSPECTED UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS ALSO. PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPHS PROVIDED BELOW FOR A CLOSE UP VIEW......

THE INNER DUST COVERS ARE THE ORIGINALS POLY BAG ATTACHED INSIDE, SLIGHT LOOSING OF THESE FROM THE INNER, BUT NOTHING TO DRASTIC. THEY ARE BOTH IN VG++ SHAPE WITH LITTLE WEAR & SOME STICKERS AGAIN OF THE ORIGINAL CATALOUGE NUMBER, FOR THE SHOP SELLING AT THE TIME, EASY TO LOCATE THEM, AND PLACE IN COVER. BOTH IN VG++ CONDITION AND HAVE SERVED THERE ORIGINAL PUPOSE VERY WELL, OF PROTECTING THESE SWIRL ULTRAS, TO FIND BOTH OF THESE IN THE SAME CONDITION IS RARE!!!!

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside the cover inside a polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
