VIC'S TUNE / BOSSA NOVA SCOTIA ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by VIC LEWIS & HIS BOSSA NOVA ALL STARS. Original UK promo pressing on the H.M.V. (HIS MASTER'S VOICE) label (POP 1127), from 1963. Outstanding, Brazilian influenced jazz double-sider. Both themes taken from the Vic Lewis Plays Bossa Nova At Home & Away Lp. VIC'S TUNE is from the "At Home" (London) session with beautiful horns / piano and latin flute solo by the legendary Tubby Hayes. BOSSA NOVA SCOTIA is from the "Away" (Hollywood) session and is also very stylish and elegant sounding. Both themes feature the cream of the UK and US jazz scene (see below for all players on this recording). Great for DJs. This is the seldom seen promotional demo single too. Original 4-prong centre intact. Very rare 45!!!
