You are bidding for a CLASSIC FRENCH ROCK 'N' ROLL 45 RPM EP by VINCE TAYLOR AND HIS PLAYBOYS called SO GLAD YOOUR MINE. Side 1; SO GLAD YOUR MINE, BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE. Side 2;LONE TALL SALLY, LOVIN' UP A STORM issued on the BARCLAY record label in FRANCE in 1962, cat number 70395( PEACH AND BLACKLABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels.The record has little wear with few slight surface scuffs and few slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. The picture sleeve is also excellent with no edge and corner fraying, and no creasing or tears. CLASSIC ROCK AND ROLL EP from VINCE TAYLOR with four classic tracks including great cover verions of LONG TALL SALLY and BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSER. VINCE TAYLOR was British born who passed himself of as American, He made a couple of records in the UK that didn't sell but have since become CULT ROCK 'N ROLL CLASSICS, RIGHT BEHIND YOU BABY, and BRAND NEW CADILLAC. A great LIVE stage performe , he went to France, and with his tradmark black leather nicked from GENE VINCENT'S wardrobe he became a superstar and made a series of great rock and roll records. Where everyone else toned down through the 60's he became wilder, causing mayhem and riots when he performed. Drugs and his fragile mind took its toll and he soon not just believed that he was the KING OF ROCK but that he was the son of God also. DAVID BOWIE based his ZIGGY STARDUST character on him. A true JUKEBOX HERO. CLASIC ROCK AND ROLL/ ROCKABILLY with four rockiing tracks on this fine EP. RARE hard to find , from my own collection.
