Description
The Crickets - The "Chirping" Crickets comes in good condition considering its age with light surface scratches/scuffs and some longer/deeper scratches, as shown in the photos. Please note there's a few jumps on "That'll Be The Day", which is common with a record of this age and doesn't detract in any way.
Outer sleeve has some wear with a piece missing at the top corner, peeling/wrinkling to the laminate, tears at the corners/edges, spine/corner/edge wear, creases, stains and surface marks/scuffs/scratches. This record is believed to be the 1958 UK First Press version with Vogue Coral labels.
Printed with 'Coral Records Inc. N.Y., U.S.A.' and 'Printed in England'. Inner sleeve's plastic window is intact with some creasing, impressions from the record and stains/marks, as shown.
Record is in good used condition with light surface scratches/scuffs and some longer/deeper scratches. It has been tested and please note there's a few jumps on "That'll Be The Day". It also has crackles which are common with a record of this age and doesn't detract from this great vintage LP in any way.
Reference Number is LVA 9081. Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, stamped): MG-6036-1B. Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, stamped): MG-6037-1B. The "Chirping" Crickets displays nicely and is a must for any Buddy Holly / The Crickets fan.
