Up for sale is a RARE Vintage Barker Book and Toy Company, The Magic PHONOGRAPH and Record "THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS". 

I purchased 5 of these with different titles at an estate auction, and were in the original cardboard display case and in good condition. The outer liner is in great condition other than a cut/tear along the seam or edge.

78 rpm Record, Magic Phonograph and Coloring Book

It actually TALKS - Plays a Complete Record!

Plays a long playing record loud and clear

This package contains a Phonograph and Record of The Night Before Christmas with a Story and a unused Coloring Book

The front of the cover has a colorful picture of Santa with a bag of toys coming out of a chimney

The inside has the instructions on using the phonograph plus the cardboard record player, record and story coloring book

The back of the cover has a large picture of a young boy and girl playing a record on the phonograph

Directions to play a record:
Place on flat surface.
Fold back top cover so that needle (see pic) rests on record.
Hold down phonograph with palm of hand to steady it.
Turn record to right (clockwise) at a steady rate of speed.

At the bottom of the Phonograph is "The Night Before Christmas" story and coloring book. Open the 8 pages to see a story page on the left and a picture to color on the right.

If you enjoy rare toys from the 50s, then this record will make a nice addition to your childhood record collection or for your own children.
