Description
Velvet Underground & Nico as released on Verve V6-5008 in 1967 from the US. Peeled banana cover is VG+ with some wear, writing on back, minor wear on bottom edge, no cutout marks, there is a 4 inch "bubble/crease" on front cover towards the spine, looks like a manufacturing issue. Disc is VG+ with lots of scuffs and minor wear, plays through fine with bacground noise. A short scratch on side 2 on tracks 2 and 3, plays through with pops. Writing and a small tear on label on side 2. Not a near mint copy by anymeans but still enjoyable. This is an original stereo pressing of the 1967 LP: Original (peeled) ANDY WARHOL banana cover. This is the West Coast pressing variation; labels refer to sides as "A" and "B" not numeric like the East Coast pressings. No torso, airbrushed back cover version with banana sticker peeled from front cover.
Shipping and Handling: Please see Shipping Options for domestic and international shipping prices. I will combine auctions to save on postage and will work with buyer for the best rate possible. Plan on an additional $1.00 per disc in US and $4.00 per disc international. I do need to charge for materials, Ebay fees, Paypal fees and actual postage but do not make my profit from shipping. International sales $80 or more will be mailed Registered (plan on about $14 more) or Priority (plan on about $48 for up to 3 records). International sales over 4 pounds must be mailed Priority Air (a US Postal service requirement), which includes tracking and indemnity by the post office, plan on about $50. Please wait for an invoice with multiple items and contact me with any questions.
I prefer Paypal, please contact me about any other payment questions, international bidders must pay with Paypal. Payments must be received within 10 days of auction close. I pack carefully yet cannot control what happens to the package once I mail it. I ship all records in special record mailers, with a cardboard flat on each side of the record. The disk is always packed out of the cover. I grade my LPs visually, I am not able to play every one of them from start to end. But if I see something suspicious I DO playgrade those spots, otherwise my grading is based on what I see using the Record Collectors Guild grading guidelines. If you have any questions regarding to the item (condition, pressing, postage, payment options, secret messages etc..) PLEASE contact me before bidding. If required I can certainly send additional pictures or info.
