Description
Title: Velvet Underground & Nico
Mono LP

Label: Verve V-5008
Condition/Description: cover is in very good condition. There is a small drillhole accompanied by an indented “X.” This configuration was slated to be a promo, but it was not to be. It is an all white cover so it shows dirt easily. There is light ringwear along the top and bottom on the front. The ring wear is a little more prominent on the back, especially on the sticker.
The cover has the rare banana sticker. There is some damage near the stem, but is not missing pieces. The banana was removed and replaced by a previous owner. Banana stem is torn about two inches.
There is a large black sticker, 4 ½" x 11 ¼", across the back that says:

Large sticker on back of cover is moderately worn. Note: I just had a look at the pictures, and the wear to the back sticker is not showing properly. The wear follows the outlines of ringwear more prominently. What you are seeing is the heaviest of it, though.
Top lip of mouth has less than one quarter inch split. Inside gatefold is solid, no tears. Spine is strong as well. Some yellowing, some dirt, but less than normal, especially for a white cover.
Disc has light scratches and paper scuffs both sides, but nothing serious. You cannot feel any of them with your fingernail.
Comes with original Verve inner sleeve. No splits on the inner sleeve. Low Reserve.
