Velvet Underground & Nico Original Banana LP Warhol

Description

The Velvet Underground & Nico. Rare original gatefold peel off banana sleeve dewhilst the disc is MGM signed by Andy Warhol. Sleeve is numbered Verve V6 - 5008 whilst the disc is MGM 2315056 - I believe this combination was used when the LP was reissued in the UK with the original US sleeve in 1971. The peel off banana is still intact with maybe the first 2" having been peeled back and replaced. I've owned this record for about 25 years and although I no longer have a turntable to test the disc on it did play very well last time I tried it.
