Description
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND 'THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO' LP
The Velvet Underground, 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' LP on Verve Records. With unpeeled banana sticker front cover. Airbrushed version of "torso" image on back cover.
Banana sticker shows faint signs of having once been picked at on either end (see photos), but is still in one piece with no major rips, tears, crumples, discoloration, etc. Hard to find in such good condition.
Rest of album cover has 5" seam split along bottom and 4" seam split at top that has been repaired with masking tape. Cover has minor ringwear and edgewear throughout.
Comes with original Verve inner sleeve, which has a 4" split at the bottom.
Overall the vinyl is clean and plays very well, but is rated in VG condition for light scratches and sleeve marks on Side B and a few noticeable scratches on Side A. Has been playtested; for the most part sounds great.
Catalog # is V6-5008. Blue deep-groove labels note "Three Prong Music, Inc. BMI."
MATRIX ETCHINGS:
Side A: "V6-5008 SIDE-1 MGS-558-REV"
Side B: "V6-5008 SIDE-2 MGS-559"
