Description

The album has the full banana intact with some damage to the album as whole.  The damage mentioned is:

  • A full tear between the stem and the banana probably due to someone trying to pull the banana off.  A white spot in the middle of banana with some crinkling probably due to friction from other albums being pulled from next to it.
  • There is writing with the name of Jody in ink on the face of the album, paper inner and on the record label.  There is also other writing on the paper inner.
  • The album cover and paper inner shows signs of age.
  • There is an approximate 4" tear at the top of the record sleeve.
  • The record itself has been played but does not appear to have any scratches on either side.  However, we have no turntable to play the record.
This is a 1968 stereo album and contains the following etching on the record itself:
  • V6-5008 Side 1 MGS-558-REV
  • V6-5008 Side 2 MGS-559
The paper inner contains photos and stories of other Verve musicians.
