DINO VALENTE (a.k.a, "Chester Powers" and "Jesse Oris Farrow") was the co-founder of the legendary San Francisco psychedelic band, QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE, and the composer of the timeless classics "Fresh Air" and "Get Together," the later of which has been covered most famously by THE YOUNGBLOODS as well as JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, Richie Havens, LINDA RONSTADT and The Stone Poneys, and BELINDA CARLISLE, among others.
