Rare/Unique Kraftwerk Autobahn UK Mispress LP (Both Sides Play Side B) 2Y//1
This is a rare mispressed original 1st UK issue of the classic LP “Autobahn” by Kraftwerk
The record has the correct 1 and 2 side labels but plays side 2 on both sides. I could find one other example on Popsike and anoter mention in a chat room. There isn’t a listing for it on discogs.
Matrix numbers are:
Side 1: 6360620 2Y//1 420 03 1 6 2 4 Bilbo
Side 2: 6360620 2Y//1 420 03 1 6 1 1 25 Bilbo
It seems that 2 different side 2 stampers have been used to create the record in error.
The vinyl has some very light marks and scuffs but plays well (albeit missing side 1). Occasional light crackle in a few places but genuinely minimal. EX playback
The embossed sleeve has a few grubby finger prints/light marks but nothing major. VG+
Genuine rarity!
