Victims Of Chance 'Victims Of Chance'.
Original UK B&C black label stereo press LP.
'Victims of Chance' was an American group featuring a man named Johnny Kitchen. An enigmatic figure he is believed to have been Canadian and in Canadian outfits 'Crazy People' and 'The Blues Train'. He eventually turned up in Los Angeles and was involved in the recording of the first album by onetime Frank Zappa cohort Larry "Wild Man" Fischer. The true identity of the pseudonymous Johnny Kitchen is not known. So a very rare surviving example of this late sixties psychadelic classic, with the A-1 B-4 matrices and 1-2-11/1-1-6 stampers! The front laminated sleeve is intact, with some corner wear & some heavy laminate rubbing/scuffing, with heavy storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only acouple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines on each side and two light bag scuffs which do not affect play. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; (CAS-1004+A) crossed out, SLE-8004, A- stamper ?, B- stamper ?. This is one of the very earliest copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo issue of this album!!

All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
