78 RPM- Vogue "Study In Blue" The Hour of Charm All Girl Orchestra
(Song titles are easily readable on the album cover)
DON"T MISS THIS ONE
This is a set of two Vogue records and they look great! I have never seen Vogue records this nice.
Purchased from original owner, there are inscriptions on the inside cover as follows:
" To Louis & Martha LIneback, with fondest greetings!! Every good wish, Evelyn and her Magic Violin Miami Beach, Fla."
Also, "Phil Spitalny" inscribed by his photo.
Evelyn is pictured ON one vogue record holding her violin.
An incredible set of vogue records!
Condition E to E- (only an occasional sound, but trying to be accurate)
The VJM Record Grading System.
I do my best to be accurate with record condition. I play records as I list as some can look and play differently.
Most will need cleaned as they have been stored for many years.
I have cleaned a few if they really appear questionable, but not many.
NM- Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
E+ Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E- Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scuffs and scratches some audible noise but minimal
V+ Average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+ Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
G Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
G- Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
F Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening quality is compromised.
I ship 78s sandwiched in appropriate corrugated pads, in a 12x12x6 box and padded with newspaper or other suitable protection.
Records are suspended in the center of the box and away from the sides to ensure their safety.
