PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


MEGA RARE original Capitol CLT-48053 first pressing from 1987 with glossy full color printed inner sleeve!!!  LP side 1 is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs and side 2 is VG++ with even fewer and lighter paper scuffs.  Cover is VG/VG+ with a small (less than 1") spine seam.  Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE full color two-sided rigid 12 X 12 in-store promotional display put out by Capitol in 1987 with album cover art on the rear!!!  I purchased this from a former Tower Records manager here in Chicago who had a soft spot in her heart for hair bands and decided to rescue this from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s.  These are the kinds of items W.A.S.P. (and Ghoulies) fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep.  Display has NO pin holes, staple holes, peel spots, tape residue. bends, creases or tears.  Incredibly rare.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
