WAYNE McGHIE & SOUNDS OF JOY s/t ORIG Birchmount LP Canadian Funk ULTRA RARE
Auction is for an ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY FIRST PRESSING of WAYNE McGHIE & THE SOUND OF JOY'S "SELF TITLED" LP from 1970 on Birchmount Records. One of the true holy grails of the Canadian funk & soul scene and a record that hardly ever turns up for sale especially in such top condition. Aside from a couple deletion punch-holes thru the cover, and subsequently the labels and record itself (see photos), and some marker at the top left corner of back cover this is pretty much an immaculate copy. Vinyl itself looks almost unplayed! It may be awhile before another copy turns up for sale especially in this kind of condition… don't sleep!!***PLEASE NOTE: Parcels valued over $200 will require XpressPost service with tracking which is approx. $30 to the US and $50 overseas.
