Vinyl: Side 1 NM / Side 2 strong VG++ Side 1 is a beautiful Near Mint side: clean, glossy and very well preserved.
Side 2 is a strong, clean VG++, still very attractive, with one light superficial hairline / surface mark. Please see the photos carefully. This is still a wonderful LP overall, honestly and conservatively graded.
Cover: strong VG++ / close to NM A superb, sturdy original cover in beautifully preserved condition. Clean, solid, sharp and visually very attractive, clearly close to Near Mint. A genuine collector’s example with only light signs of careful storage.
Collector’s note: A truly rewarding Beethoven violin concerto recording. Szigeti’s interpretation has a special authority: less polished glamour, more truth; less display, more substance. This is precisely the kind of performance that serious collectors and experienced listeners return to again and again.
Not a perfect Near Mint copy because of the small visual point on Side 2, but still a highly desirable and musically outstanding collector LP.
