Description
THE WILDWEEDS -- Same -- hard to find, original 1970 U.S. album. Lovely and still strangely-underrated folk-rock gem from this short-lived group that featured a pre-NRBQ Al Anderson. Beautiful and bittersweet rural rock-folk-stoner country blend similar to Gram Parsons & The Flying Burrito Bros. and The Grateful Dead circa "American Beauty." Songs: Baby Please Don't Leave Me Today, Can't Sit and Watch Little Susie Laugh, John King's Fair, Belle, An Overnight Guest, Nobody's Here to Help Me Cry, others. Cover: VG++, still in shrink wrap, removable price sticker, light wear at corners. Record: VG+++, very light surface wear, overall excellent, on Vanguard label, U.S. press, stereo.
