Description
For auction is WYNTON KELLY's "Kelly Blue" on RIVERSIDE RLP 12-298, MONO, 1959. This record is deep-grooved on both sides. It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides complete. Both sides have a little soft background crackling, as well as a low-volume "pop" in a couple spots.
Visually, the vinyl is VG+, with a couple long scuffs on either side that don't affect the sound.
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note! It's clean, with solid seams and corners all around. It does have several "not for sale" stamps both front and back. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. A nice record, in great condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $30.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
