Description
About This Record. This is the seldom seen stereo copy of Wanda Jackson's awesome rockabilly LP in living stereo. It is Capitol ST 1511 on the rainbow label with the Capitol logo on the left. See scans. This is her best and best sounding and scarcest of her LPs. That early stereo sound is mind blowing with rockabilly. Too bad she went country in my humble opinion.
Cover Condition. The cover is a super nice VG. There is faint writing on the front cover (see scans) The spine and seams are in tact, but two inches of wear top left, 1/2 top right, one inch in bottom middle, and one inch bottom left are torn and worn. The spine is in tact except that the 'J' in Jackson is a little worn, and the 'phonic' in stereophonic is a little worn. Still pretty reasonable and findable in your collection.
Vinyl Condition. I do NOT use the EX grade! Vinyl looks a nice VG (like an EX-), but plays VG+ to M-with no real problems (no skips, sticks, jumps, and not much noise at all. Lots of mono ones around, but the stereo sound so good. Check my feedback, I'm a conservative grader.
Grading Vinyl. I use modified Goldmine grading standards. Mint/NM/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G. On rare occasions I may use VG++. I DO NOT use the EX grade! My VG+ is EX to EX+, and my VG is EX-. I grade conservatively; look at my feedback! I play grade my vinyl with an MC Ruby 3 Micro Benz cartridge. I do not alter the records, covers, or labels with pens, tape, glue or other stuff. When I notice such damage, I point it out in detail!
