Description

An astoundingly rare autograph and original photograph from one of the legends in conducting. This 4" x 6" photo by Gerhard Kowalewsky (who took some classic photos of Menuhin and others) is signed with a long, dated inscription on the back. My German is non existent, so perhaps someone can tell me exactly what it says...

The photo is stamped by Kowalewsky's studio. Autograph is dated June 20 1949. Photo is in excellent condition, with a little aging around edges, as seen in photos.
