Description
With The Beatles Stereo 1st UK Pressing. Has the jobete credit for Money and the rear panel has 'gotta' in the track title, You Really Gotta Hold on Me.
The cover is VG+, just a little laminate creasing on the front. Back panel is fairly tidy, a little light staining towards the top of the panel. There is one small indentation to the left of John's head. About 5mm, but not too intrusive.
Inner sleeve is the original Emitex in VG condition.
Record is currently housed in a Japanese poly aleeve due to its rarity and following cleaning on a Keith Monks.
Side 1 is YEX 110-2. Mother 4 Stamper AH
Side 2 is YEX 111-2. Mother 2 Stamper RP
The record has been play tested.
Sound quality is typically VG to VG+, sounding better on the opening tracks. A few light clicks were detected between tracks 1 and 2 on side 1. Disappointingly I noticed more distortion towards to end of each playing side, notably in Till There is You, where I found the sound to be poor.
The record surface looks at least Ex with just a few minor hairlines and very minor spindle wear for its age. There is a tiny edge warp that doesn't affect play.
Please do not bid if you are hoping for a mint record. I do grade conservatively and in accordance with Record Collector Magazine. This is a rare record but it does have its flaws as discussed above.
