Description

THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'

1963 UK 2nd *MONO* PRESSING* LP

This extremely well-looked after and seldom played copy is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.

The publishing credit for the song 'Money' is 'Dominion. Belinda..'.

An 'MKT' tax/price code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed, large mono logo cover.

The rear track-listing carries the 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misspelling.

Complete with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N

Stamper codes: 1/LO & 1/GGH

Disc weight: 147g

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A rich, vibrant pair with no significant blemishes or wear.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

This superb copy displays pristine, unmarked 'as new' surfaces in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever. Close & careful inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines from initial inner-sleeve removal, but no further marks or wear of any kind.

Play: EXCELLENT +

Only ever very carefully played on top-quality equipment, this copy plays cleanly & clearly throughout with no sound issues whatsoever. My careful playcheck at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear or background noise on ayn song or either channel. There were certainly no clicks, pops or any other such audible blemishes. One to really enjoy.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A fine example of this easily worn cover with a bright & glossy front panel which shows just two small 'thumbnails', but no other creasing or wear. All corners and both opening edges are in excellent shape and without any heavy bumps or tears. The rear panel is clean & bright overall with the only blemish being a number written in the upper left corner. However, all flipbacks, seams and the spine are fully intact, unworn & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT +

Clean & crisp with just a touch of inevitable age-toning but no splits, tears or writing.
