The vast majority of copies on ebay advertised as first pressings are incorrectly listed but this is the real thing & a genuine rarity.
UK mono pressing with You Really Gotta Hold on Me misspelled on sleeve & label & incorrect Jobete credit for Money.
Firstly, the record:
Visually stunning. Almost no signs of handling or use. An extremely light mark or two either side but you've got to squint for them. It seems to have barely seen daylight let alone much turntable action. It's been professionally cleaned too so it's good & shiny.
Both labels show just the tiniest shred of spindle wear - invisible from any particular distance.
I've play tested it & it sounds as deep & warm as a good bath like these heavyweight sixties mono copies should. The run ins are quiet, there are no skips or jumps & really not much deterioration in sound quality at all.
Secondly, the sleeve:
G & L flipback version.
In great shape. Strong, clean & intact with decent corners & spine. There's a small chip to the opening edge & a ballpoint 1963 mark on the back but really they're the only flaws.
The pictures tell a thousand words.
The clean original emitex inner is present & correct too. I've patched up the seams a little with acid free archive tape.

Unusually there's no tax code.
