Holy Grail. 100% the rarest Punk/New Wave 7” from the UK. You are bidding on the impossibly rare withdrawn debut 7" by XTC from 1977. This one is rarer than the GOD SAVE THE QUEEN single by the SEX PISTOLS.....but the sleeve is only a xeroxed one. I guarantee: this original first UK pressing has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. It has only been offered once on eBay. It sold, in December 2005, for £2,900 (yesss £2,900). I obtained this UNPLAYED single from a U.K. music journalist at that time. As you know, to promote a record, music journalists always got FIRST PRESSINGS. This excellent 2-tracker has the catalogue number VS 188 and was released in the noble year of 1977 but withdrawn very soon after the release….and these days it is virtually impossible to find…in any condition!! Only a handful singles like this, the ‘Science Friction’ 45 and the ‘God Save The Queen’ by the PISTOLS were given 5 stars (*****) by Mario Panciera's wonderful UK Punk discography '45 Revolutions'. The regular eBay prices for this single (without the cover) are sold in March 2011 for £178 and in May 2010, for £175 (UK)....so what's the price for this record with that full-colorerd xeroxed sleeve? Again, this is an untouched ‘Virgin’. I have included 50 old punk & powerpop records at www.ebay.de as well. MEANIES (It’s True), WEIRDOS (Neutron Bomb), RAMONES (Rockaway, Dutch press, UNDERTONES (orig Teenage Kicks), DISCO ZOMBIES, etc....

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen 7“ Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special 7“ record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
