Description
We have recently aquired a first class collection or records comprising of approximately 40,000 45's, 78's, and L.P.'s in every genre including rock & roll, funk, punk, blues, soul, northern soul, R&B, surf, jazz, country, doo-wop etc.The release dates range from the 1910's through to the 2000's. The owner has been collecting since the late 1950's and looked after his records with care. Bid with confidence, we grade records accurately and have been buying and selling records through Ebay since 1999.

-Began in early 1979 as the K-Tels, but after they were threatened by a huge lawsuit by the K-Tel company, they changed their name to the Young Canadians. They won the 1979 Vancouver Battle of the Bands as the K-Tels. Led by the now legendary Art Bergman (vocals, guitar) with Jim Bescott (vocals, bass) and Barry Taylor (drums) they recorded their first 12" E.P. (Hawaii) at Little Mountain Sound in September of 1979 with engineering credits to Bob Rock. This is their best release, and is part of the reason that they were able to carve out a strong following up and down the west coast of North American and right across Canada. All four songs are great rock / punk / pop numbers including 'Hawaii' which starts out with the memorable line 'Let's to to f...ing Hawaii'.
