Description
Up for bids is a fostex model 20 studio deck.
this machine was the flagship of the fostex line of pro equipment.
It has sound on sound , hall effect, syncro delay, patch timer, standard and remote sequencing for record and playback.
sound quality is bell clear with every function and flawless mode selection.
I did an a/b comparison against a teac x 10-r and the clarity on the fostex was noticably better and much more on the high end of the playback spectrum.
the heads have no dicernable wear and look like mirrors, capstan and drive wheel are smooth and flaw free.
If you want a machine that has no equal in it's class then here it is.
I am not a dealer but I did my homework on this machine and it was the hottest thing going in the 7 inch class when I got it.
I just want another 10 inch machine so therefore this one has got to go.
