Description
JOY DIVISION TRANSMISSION SIGNED BY IAN CURTIS AT HIGH WYCOMBE TOWN HALL IN FEBRUARY 1980. This is a genuine signature that i got when i went to watch them when i was a punk. My friend was mad on joy division and i was more in to killing joke who played on the same evening at wycombe town hall. I must admit i thought they sang a bit dreary but they were a different story live, Ian curtis dancing had to be seen as it was really funny although i had no idea he was ill,he spoke nicely to us and seemed much livlier than his songs would make you believe. We often got autographs of band members as they were normally really approachable, so my friend said we have to get the lead singers autograph as he is amazing, so we both got them signed.I tried to get the guitarist to sign but he seemed pretty grumpy so i kept out of hjis way. I forgot all about the amount of stuff i had collated going to so many gigs but i have found all this old stuff in drawers and boxes at my mums house. I have sold a lot already and they are nearly all in excellent condition. Please only bid if you are interested in paying at the end as i have had time wasters which does not help anyone, my feedback is 100% so if you are genuinely interested bid with confidence. I will put a letter with the record stating all of the above if you want an account of how and where it came from I am starting with a low price as it seems they gain more interest although post is free , To UK ,it will be sent special delivery signed for due to insuring it
