Description
This item came from the clearance of the legendary Marquee Club in Wardour Street, London in the early nineties. It is an original 14.3 x 21.2cm flyer for the 9th National Jazz & Blues Festival (colloquially known as Reading Festival) held betweeen Friday August 8th - Sunday 10th 1969. The festival was eventually held at Plumpton Race Track in Sussex but this rare flyer was printed for the original venue in West Drayton !
A stellar bill that year included The Pink Floyd, The Who & The Nice as headliners and supporting were Soft Machine, Yes, Pentangle, Long John Baldry, Bonzo Dog Band & Fat Mattress amongst others.
Condition is excellent. There is a small crease top right (front view). 100% original NOT a copy.
