1956 De Soto Chrysler 16 2/3 Records & Radio Manuals
A collection of 1956 era De Soto Chrysler automobile records and radio manuals. Included in this lot is a owners manual dated 9-56 for the Music Master Radio Model 846 that was Custom built for De Soto S25, S26 and the S27. With Transistor Powered Push Button Tuning. This has writing on the cover and some fold tears. The other manual is for the Model 919 Transistor Powered Automatic Push Button and Search Tuning Radio offered on the S series De Soto and this is dated 11-56. This manual is in nice condition. To complete this collection of late 50's automobilia is a set of the 16 2/3 Highway Hi Fi Records from the Chrysler Corporation by Columbia Records For use only on the Highway Hi Fi player in automobiles and can not be played on machines equipped with standard or microgroove needles. Music included the artists Philharmonic Orchestra, Cole Porter, Martin Gould, Bernard Shaw, John Raitt, Ken Griffin, Walt Disney's Davey Crockett and Percy Faith. These have been visually inspected and appear to be in nice condition. One record has no sleeve.
