Our GRADING for bigbillkorst2 is
E+ (or NM), E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. strict grading  VINYL GRADING (Visual !!):  My LPs are visually graded, most of the LPs I have/am listing are from an OLD and well cared for HUGE Jazz record collection (50K to 75K 78s, LPs + 45s).  Many times the vintage vinyl (1950s + 1960s) from this collection, visually grade above average E to E- visually sharp-  they are obviously not scratched or abused, they are so old that they have some background noise in most to many cases ( they all have noise to some degree). My brother is recording many/ most of these LPs before I list them and he notes if there is abnormally bad noisiness or obvious defects--this is NOT a play grade--he just notes the real obvious bad stuff. Like I stated before, most vintage vinyl + 78s have noise -some are better some are worse. The letter grades are strictly visual. I mention if my brother noted something bad he heard.
33RPM Rama RLP 1003 Joe Newman, Zoots Sims, Oscar Pettiford, Adrian Acea + Osie Johnson - Locking Horns, E- to E to E- or V+ other scale  This c1957 great Jazz LP,  this is a clean, above average vinyl, my brother played this + did not note any excessive noisiness or skips, so most likely it will play clean he records these LPs before I list them and he listens (not diligently--but he listens)--he mentions if he hears some problems. This is a light to mild filmy wear (you see on many to most 50s vinyls) with benign marks, light abrasions  and just mild surfacy marks, it has been well kept--I got a few pictures of the vinyl you can get a decent look at the vinyl with the (4th thru 7th photos). The deep groove labels have little wear. This will come with an inner sleeve. The jacket cover is a overall nice front--the only thing on the front is some not too bad looking tape on the top edge (8th pix), has a hard to see taping on the spine, the back you can see the tape better, has a few brownish stains on back, its an average medium jacket--overall not too bad, see the 12 photos above. My dad probably picked this up 50 years ago--it has been sitting on a shelf ever since-till just recently. Will come in a plastic outer protective LP cover. This comes from a great old Jazz record collection.  Please email with any questions.
