Description
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.
ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of any online purchase to avoid customs fees is illegal. Since I process every order digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item. I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so.
RECORD packaging / shipping method:
I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Here's a rather rare record entitled Astro-Sounds "From Beyond The Year 2000" on the original purple Alshire label, stereo record S-5119. This is apparently one of the most sought after and rare 101 Strings records; after listening to this record, I can see why. If you like the acid psych sound with wild effects, this is definitely the record for you. Rumor has it part of this recording was mixed from an Animated Egg outtake (Sock It My Way). Please read below for full details:
Strong VG++ to NM- (conservatively graded)
The record has been cleaned on my VPI machine. Great music, awesome sound. Vinyl surface has a few ultra light marks and ultra light scuffs. There were no skips during playback on my turntable, the LP played beautifully with clean and clear sound... please feel free to check out the sound clips below. This is a nice original here, worthy of any collection. Record looks as the pictures show on the left.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

The labels look great, just as the pictures show! Nice overall.
Record Cover: Cover is in beautiful shape. 8 or so out of 10 or graded at a strong VG++ to NM-. Still in the shrink, the cover has been well preserved for decades. Slight bow in the cover from top to bottom, only visible if one closely inspects it. Some very light spots of foxing in a couple small instances, light foxing at the mouth on back cover from exposure to air where shrink was carefully opened..
Inner Sleeve: The inner sleeve is the original from Alshire.
PAYMENT: PayPal please.

GRADING: I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures and providing text to represent the record's condition.
"Goldmine Standard" grading: SS = Still Sealed Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description. NM- = Near Mint Minus Has been opened, but is still in excellent condition - nearly flawless.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" audible cracks or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. - Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
VG = Very Good
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade. - Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to. - Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
