Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Anthony Ortega 'A Man And His Horn' LP on Herald Records HLP-0101. Other musicians include Hank Jones, Addison Farmer, and Edmond Thigpen.
Record info:
Although the record looks like a nice VG+ with a few scuffs I have downgraded it to VG as it plays with a fair amount of surface noise. It still plays well though.
Cover info:
Strong VG+ with solid seams with some minor corner wear. The front cover has a tiny price written on white border of upper right corner. The back cover has prices written on upper left corner.
Label / Pressing info:
Original deep groove press.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
