Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare 1964 stereo 1st press copy of the Beatles 4th LP, Beatles For Sale.
Back in 1964 the stereo format was still very much the underdog. Stereo discs cost more than their mono counterparts and stereophonic record players were still priced up to the point of being a highly expensive luxury. Because of this, the original stereo presses sold in far, far fewer numbers than the mono presses. Only a tiny percentage of the original 1964 1st presses were stereo and, today, are extremely rare and highly collectible!

The cover is holding up okay for its age with some light wear and tear in places. The front is lovely and clean with no dirt buildup on the laminate or anything. There's a little wear around the edges and some light, small creases here and there. Top and bottom seams are both holding tight with no splits, tears or anything. The spine has some wear, most notably at the top and bottom, and has some little creases running through it, but is holding okay with fully legible spineprint. The back is very clean with just a hint of disc impression and rubbing at the bottom. There's some small laminate creases around the edges. The inner gatefold has yellowed slightly and has some light creases, but there's no writing, stains etc. Not looking too bad, overal! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG+
The playing surface has a very nice, crisp shine to it and has a fair amount of light, faint scuffs. There are some slightly heavier looking scuffs but there's nothing nasty or anything. Looking really nice for its age!

The labels have lovely bright, silver text with no writing, stickers etc. There's a fair amount of light spindlewear and some whitening around the centrehole.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
