Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This listing is for a rare, original stereo 1st press copy of the Beatles LP 'Beatles For Sale'.
Back in 1964 stereo was still very much a novelty that only the well off could afford. Stereo records cost much more than their mono counterparts and stereo record players were much more expensive and, because of this, everybody bought mono. Today is it very hard to find an original stereo pressing of their early albums as they sold very poorly at the time.

Title Beatles For Sale Year of Release 1964 Catalogue Number PCS 3062 Label Yellow / Black Parlophone with 'Sold in UK' Statement and 'Parlophone' rimtext Tax Code on Disc KT Sleeve Manufacturer - Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 142-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 143-1 Side 1 Stampers 1 / P Side 2 Stampers 2 / MO Cover Condition The cover is in VG+ condition. It's holding up very nicely with just some light wear and tear to show its age. The front is lovely and clean with a lovely, thick laminate and just a little rubbing and creasing around the edges and corners. There's a touch of wear on the spine edge in the middle. Top and bottom seams are holding perfectly. Spine has a little wear and some peeling of the laminate, but has not split. Back, again, is very clean with just a very ligth disc impression and some light rubbing. Inside gatefold is looing nice. The left side has a little rubbing in the black areas, but nothing serious. Right side is looking very nice and clean with overflaps that're holding tight with just a few little creases running through them. All in all, looking very nice. Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG condition. The disc has a fair amount of light scuffs and marks all over, but there's nothing serious, deep or heavy or anything. Label Condition The labels are in VG+/EX- condition. The labels are clean with no writing, tears, stickers etc. and are looking very nice. The side 1 label does have a label scar and a little residue on it as you can see in the photos below, but the side 2 label is looking beautiful! Both have a little, light spindlewear and a touch fo white around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
