The Beatles - Beatles For Sale
(Parlophone PMC 1240 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve, which has inner flipbacks. It has an outlined "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing paper lined Emitex inner sleeve. This is in VG condition. There is a 5" seam split at the bottom.
The record has yellow & black Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co...", "Recording First..." & "Sold In The UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are: XEX 503-4N & XEX 504-4N. The mother stampers are ROD 1 & ROH 1. A genuine UK original mono pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a 1" bit of wear at the centre on the rear bottom edge. There is some mild rubbing wear to the inner gatefold & some mild ringwear too. VG condition.
Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. Plays VG overall. There is some intermittent crackle & light clicks near the start of Side 1. It doesn't last too long. Otherwise light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
