BEATLES UK  –  ABBEY ROAD LP, MISALIGNED APPLE.

1969 PCS 7088 -  APPLE RECORD LABEL.

A first press UK album in 100% original condition featuring:

1. a  Misaligned APPLE logo mispress on the rear of the sleeve.

2. the track ‘ Her Majesty ’ is NOT printed on the record label on side two nor is it printed on the rear of the sleeve BUT the track  DOES play on the record !

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in  excellent  condition, the sleeve has a full glossy  laminate.  The  thin spine is in excellent condition and all the text  is clear to read.  For its age the sleeve has four excellent sharp corners.  As this is a very first pressing of this album it  features the Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve misaligned, to the left !.  EMI were quick to correct this and later sleeves had the Apple logo aligned with the song listing !. There are NO stains, pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue.  There is a little light  laminate creasing to the front right, bottom on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE:    is in very good  condition  and is the original white sleeve with a   ‘ Patent No. 1,125,555’ number. For its age the sleeve is very clean. One side edge has   started to split.    Theres   NO  pen writing, stains,  tears,  stickers or sticker residue. 

THE VINYL:   is in  excellent++ condition.    The vinyl is made from the period thick, heavy vinyl, it is very  dark and glossy.     

The Matrix are :       YEX  749 - 2    and    YEX 750 – 1,

The Mother/Stampers are :     ‘ 4    O D L  ’   and   ‘ 3   A P O ’.

THE AUDIO:    is excellent,  the best I have heard  for a long time, with excellent quiet ‘ run ins’.   The record plays well, without the needle sticking or jumping. 

THE LABELS:    are  in  excellent+ condition,  as this is a first pressing side one shows a DARK Green Apple.  The song  ‘ Her Majesty ’  does not appear on the label. Theres  NO pen writing,  stickers or sticker residue on the labels.
