Excellent- condition discs. Nice shiny lustrous vinyl. Thick, heavy-duty vinyl. A couple of minor surface marks on sides 1, 2 and 4, but nothing that you can feel. Some minor spindle marks, which can only be seen in a certain light. All four Apple labels are DARK GREEN, with "Sold in the UK" text, and are all very nice and clean. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, serious scratches or writing on labels. This record plays very well, with very good sound quality throughout, and very little surface noise or distortion. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Rare TOP OPENING fully laminated sleeve with FLIPBACKS in Very Good- condition. "The BEATLES" printed in embossed text on front of sleeve. "No. 0478146" clearly printed on front. Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd." No seam splits anywhere, but there is a small half-inch tear to the rear opening edge of the back of the sleeve (see photos). Some general wear / age-related discolouration throughout. Some wear, creasing and lamination loss to spine, but all text still legible. Some minor wear to opening edges.
Supplied in rare ORIGINAL FIRST-ISSUE DIE-CUT BLACK INNER SLEEVES - both with original circular label-hole to front, but not to rear - (as per original first issue). One is in EXCELLENT- condition, with very minor tears to top corners only, but no seam splits. The other is in VERY GOOD- condition, with slightly more general wear, and a taped repair to a 1.5 inch tear to rear top opening edge.
Original four glossy first-issue PRINTS all in EXCELLENT condition. No writing, creasing, folding, tears or other damage to front or rear of all four. Very slight age-related discolouration.
Original POSTER in VERY GOOD condition, with some general wear. No pin holes, writing or extra creases. Some general wear and age-related discolouration. Some areas of wear and minor splitting along the original fold lines.

GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
