This EXCELLENT UK 1964 mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Both have the 'Sold in UK...' text and 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
An 'MT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label
Matrices: XEX 503-4N & XEX 504-4N
Stamper codes: 2/GAA & 2/GGA
Vinyl weight: 137g
Housed in an outer front laminated UK printed gatefold mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair bearing with light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight, bearing only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve visible directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: MINT -
Played with care on quality equipment only, the sound throughout is clean & and clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion - even on the organ solo of 'Mr Moonlight'. Our careful play-check detected no clicks, pops or any other such distraction. Both run-ins and all bands play silently making this one of the best sounding copies we have had in a long time.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very respectable example of this fragile cover which retains a clean front leaf with just a light wrinkle towards the upper right corner and touch of sheflwear to the lower edge. All corners are nice and strong with no heavy bumps or bruising and both spine ends are intact with their factory pinched ends. Both inside panels are clean & unblemished with no writing or missing paper. All seams unstressed and the spine is square & unsquashed with a clean, readable text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
