THE BEATLES ( RARE UK 1st PRESS Box Set Complete with all correct Original components - Box Slip Cover / Outer slip tray / Inner book tray / Album cover/ Vinyl / Inner Sleeve and Book ! ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION )
THIS WAS ORIGINALY DUE FOR RELEASE IN AUGUST 1969 AND WAS NAMED ' GET BACK ' BUT DUE TO MANY DIFFERENCIES IT WAS SHELVED AND RE-WORKED ! THEN RELEASED ON THE 8th MAY 1970 NAMED 'LET IT BE ' WHICH THE ALBUM ALONG WITH A LAVISHLY DESIGNED BOOK PACKED WITH SUPERB PHOTOS FROM THE 'LET IT BE ' SESSIONS AND TRANSCRIPTS OF DIALOGUE FROM THE FILM , ALL PRESENTED IN A HIGH-GLOSS BOX !
THE PXS 1 NUMBER DOES NOT APPEAR ANYWHERE ON THE RECORD OR BOX AND WAS PURELY FOR MAIL ORDER PURPOSES. THIS SPECIAL BOX SET WAS DESIGNED BY JOHN KOSH AND WAS QUICKLY WITHDRAWN FROM THE SHOPS DUE TO POOR SALES AS A RESULT OF TOO HIGH A PRICE FOR THE SET , IT WAS THEN RELEASED AS AN ALBUM ONLY .PRESENTED IN THE FORM AS A BOX SET WITH ALBUM ALONG WITH A

BOX SLIP COVER
This original fully laminated outer box sleeve with the texting of " Designed by John Kosh Photographs by Ethan A Russell Printed and Made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse ( Patents Pending ) " Lovely glossy laminate with No tears or stickers etc ! Nice crisp corners with barely any wear ! perfectly square in shape , a stunning example which will be very difficult to better !!! ( see-pics) EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION !
OUTER INNER TRAY Original outer tray, these are very rare to find in any condition as most were thrown away due to the easy wear of the end flaps ! but this one is 100% original and in very nice condition with only a couple of small creases and light feathering to the corner/ edges . Lovely example of this original tray ( see-pics)EXCELLENT CONDITION INNER BOOK TRAY Again this is an original component which has survived extremely well with no nasty tears or worn feathering etc , a super example with only a hint of wear to the corners ( see-pics ) EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION LP COVER This is the original fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse single wallet 1st Issued cover ! These have the red apple logo to the rear panel and were only intended for the UK 1st issue box set ! However due to poor sales of the Box set ( as people could not afford such an exclusive set ) these sets were said to be split up and the album and the book sold seperately and the boxes thrown away ! )The cover is in very clean condition with no tears or nasty stains etc ! there is some very light ring impression but nothing serious and does not affect the overall appearance ! looks very clean and bright in ( see-pics) EXCELLENT CONDITION
THE INNER SLEEVE This is the correct original plain white Inner sleeve with the bottom ' Patent No 1,25,555 texting ! this is a super example and with the exception of some very light creases ! it's in immaculate bright , clean condition ! NEAR MINT CONDITION THE VINYL Both sides retain a lovely deep glossy shine with no scuffing or nasty scratches ! even under bright light close inspection, only a couple of light wispy paper surface marks are visable which don't affect the audio quality in any way . Both sides play through very well with sharp clear vibrant sound ! a superb looking and sounding example both visualy and audibly in EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION THE LABELS Original dark green apple labels , both in super clean shape with No writing, nasty marks or stickers and only 2 light spindle traces only visable on angled viewing in highlight ! a very nice clean and bright, near perfect set ( see-pics) EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION THE BOOK Again this is the original 1st issued book which has been very well cared for , super clean inside and out with perfect strong spine , all pages are intact and not loose ! fantastic glossy shine ! the best we have seen in a long time ! Immaculate ( see-pics) NEAR MINT CONDITION
