EVER WANTED TO HEAR A NEAR-MASTER MONO PPM - PLAY ABS PERFECT....
An original 4th press in the UK summer 1963 whilst this title topped the charts during Beatlemania. Matrix 1N/1N. A 4th pressing as denoted by the presence of 'Recording 1st pub' - and absence of 'Sold In the UK'. 'ZKT' tax code - which is super early for Beatles. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day mono cover correct for a 4th - with flips exposed. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous [unbelievable] condition particularly given the vintage. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. perfect lustre - I have never seen a better looking PPM from 63..A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a strictly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity...only a well preserved copy will stands half a chance of a great rendition. And this copy will NOT disappoint. Plays clean throughout - even into those fussy acoustic numbers. Absolutely top order all the way through. Cannot fault. Final Upgrade.
Cover (Vg+) OK - up sides and down here...PAY ATTENTION. Lovely clean front but there's a stain over at the opening....not too noticeable thanks to the aesthetic. The rear is superb very very rarely do you see a '63 with a proper white rear. That is super impressive. PLEASE NOTE...however, there is - A STAIN over at the opening. That's the only downside. At least it is uniform in nature. PLEASE be sure you can handle that. . The rear seems to have avoided much of the usual wear and tear. Flipbacks are in incredible unworn condition. Minor Two inch crease at opening. Very little edge wear and nice firm openings. Spine is pretty much fully intact 95%. Excellent rigidity too.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. Bag present. No splits.
