1963 UK 4th *STEREO* PRESSING LP
On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels include the 'Recording First Published' text but omit 'Sold in UK..'
A single letter 'K' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in an early front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the large stereo logo.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Condition
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean and strong example with a vibrant and gloss front panel which bears just some light wrinkles from handling. There are two small repaired tears to the front opening edge but no other significant faults. The rear panel is very clean with no marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are intact and in-place and both seams and the spine are fully intact & completely undamaged.
Labels: VERY GOOD
Some light scratches and hole wear but no writing, touch-up or missing paper.
Visual: GOOD
Both surfaces are quite worn and display numerous light surface marks & scratches - two of which are feelable under the fingertips. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: GOOD
Despite many plays the sound is reasonable with the only major fault being a repeating click through track 1-4 on side 1. There is some light background and the occaisional tick between tracks but no jumps, repeats or any other major faults.
