Beatles Related - Various Artists: Apple Records EP for Wall's Ice Cream. 1969.
Hello everyone.
Released in July 1969 this EP was produced by Apple for, and available by mail order exclusively from, Wall's Ice Cream to promote four of their artists in hopes it would spur sales of singles and albums. No doubt you are well familiar with the artists and songs but just in case....
Side 1 1. The Iveys: Storm in a Teacup. Produced by Mal Evans 2. James Taylor: Something's Wrong. Produced by Peter Asher
Side 2 1. Jackie Lomax: Little Yellow Pill. Produced by George Harrison 2. Mary Hopkin: Pebble and the Man. Produced by Paul McCartney
Let's look at the photos and keep in mind this limited edition record was released in 1969 so as of this listing it's 53 years old. Photos 3, 4, 5, and 6 show a couple of bends in the laminated cover on the bottom left and right. Photos 2 and 7 show a discoloration in the middle of the back cover along with a number ("60") in the upper right.
The previous owner played the record more than a couple of times but having listened it myself I'm going the conservative route and say it's Good Plus though actually it plays better. Just to be safe I'll say G+.
As with all my listings if you have any questions regarding this item please contact me and I'll respond as quickly as possible. I will ship via USPS Media Mail unless you as the winning bidder prefer another method. If so please alert me.
Various Artists: Wall's Ice Cream. Apple Records CT.1, 1969.
Thank you.
