Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & bright pair with a small number of light spindle trails around each centre hole but otherwise unblemished. There is even a sliver of the silver centre hole marker present around the side 1 hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine with a light 2cm turntable scuff on side 2 being the only visible blemish in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless inner-sleeve storage marks and a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no other significant marks or wear. Both sides of this high-quality, heavy disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This fabulous sounding copy has received a minimal amount of careful play on quality equipment and my single careful play-check at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. In fact, apart from a touch of normal, low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this fine sounding album which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An extremely fine example which has been carefully stored in clean, non-smoking conditions these past 47 years. The front panel is richly coloured and retains all of its high-gloss laminate where the only sign of wear are three small 'thumbnail' wrinkles and the impression of a few numbers made as someone used the cover to rest on whilst writing - however, this is only visible at a certain angle. There is a small shelfwear bruise to the lower left corner (visible just from the rear) but no damage or wear to either opening edge.
The exposed rear panel is pristine white with just one or two barely visible fingermarks towards the lower left corner, but certainly no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are perfectly clean and are completely unworn.
Both seams & the spine are perfectly smooth, unstressed and in unworn making this cover a tough one to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & crisp with some gentle bends around the disc impression but no writing, seam splits or tears.
