CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
All are clean, bright & unblemished with some faint spindle trails around each centre hole (mostly on label 2), but no wear to or around any of the holes.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally free from any surface lines or a single scratch - just a few harmless inner-sleeve removal marks common to all discs housed within in these unforgiving inner-sleeves. Even closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a handful of wispy paper hairlines and you would find it hard to upgrade this set.
Sound Quality
Disc 1: NEAR MINT
Disc 2: MINT
This is as good a sounding set that you could possibly hope to find. Disc 1 has received some extremely careful play on high-end equipment only and the earliest possible '1/G' pressed side 2 plays flawlessly and is unbeatable for sound quality. There are certainly no clicks, ticks or any other such distraction on this disc with the only thing prevents a MINT audio grade is a faint hint of background on the fade-in to 'Dear Prudence'. Disc 2 has been played only a handful of times and is flawless and wonderful sounding throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong & clean heavy card example which has been stored within a clean, non-smoking environment since purchase. The front panel is perfectly clean & and glossy with just a single faint 'thumbnail' wrinkle being the only trace of handling. The laminate is fully intact over the raised wording and the number is bold and unworn. There is a moderate bump to the upper left corner and some shelfwear bruising to the lower two, but all of the top-opening edges are sharp and undamaged. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front and the small 'stereo' logo is still present. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and 'as new'.
The spine has lost most of its laminate but all of the text is still present. Both lower and side seams are all smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Poster: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with a few light handling wrinkles but it has never been hung and there are no tears or damage to any of the folds.
Photos: MINT
'As new'.
Photo Protector: EXCELLENT
Uncreased and undamaged with just some foxing to one side.
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & flat with no writing, tears or split to any seam.
